Fisher Nuts Cookbook Giveaway
The air has turned from warm to cool and soon the ground will be coated in white. I don't know about you, but for me, it means time for holiday decorating and baking! I bake A LOT of cookies and treats to share with friends and family. To give something homemade is really giving something from yourself. It makes you feel good to give it and makes the person on the other end feel good to receive it.
Soon, kitchens will be warm and full of sweet smells. Trays will be piled with sugary confections, wrapped and topped with a bow to hand to a neighbor, teacher, co-worker or mail carrier. Ahhh, I love this time of year! How about you?
Fisher Nuts are a staple in my kitchen. I use the pecans for pie and chocolate "turtle" candy, walnuts for all types of cookies and about 5 other types of nuts to make an italian cookie that my father's grandmother used to make.
In honor of the upcoming "baking" season, we are going to have another giveaway sponsored by Fisher Nuts!! Woo-hoo!
Entering this giveaway is going to be easy and the best part is, if you win, you get to share! That's right! Five lucky readers will win TWO cookbooks, one to keep and one to share with a friend! How about that for giving!

I tend to make Paula Deen's ooey gooey cookies for the holidays. But one of my fave things to receive is a batch of Cake Balls. YUM! :>
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday treat to make is gingerbread cookies. But for giving away, I always make my chocolate drizzled shortbread. Both are my favorites because they're delicious.
ReplyDeleteSaltine toffee...ooey gooey cookies.....chocolate drizzled shortbread....I think we are going to need a recipe swap!! :)
ReplyDeleteYUM!
Even though I make quite a few cookies during the hoidays, it has become a tradition for me to bake several different kinds of biscotti including holiday biscotti dipped in white chocolate, pistachio almond and peanut butter chocolate just to name a few. My neighbors now wait for deliveries every year! By the way, they go excellent with Starbucks coffee ;).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday treat to make (and give) is Eggnog Pound Cake! So yummy!

My favorite holiday treat - Maple Walnut Fudge. I have to limit myself to eating it only at the holidays, or who knows how much I would weigh. :)

My favorite holiday treat to make are my grandmother's 'Date Nut Pinwheel Cookies'. My whole family loves them and looks forward to them every year. I have to give my father his own bucket that he doesn't have to share! My favorite treat to receive is peanut butter fudge. My dear neighbor ( :) ) makes it and it is delicious! As hard as I try, I cannot make it like she does! (Kelly -- maybe you'll share your secret some day! :) )
