In my previous post I mentioned how the Gremlin/Laundry Fairy had fun destroying our dryer. True to my word, we went shopping for a new one to have it replaced.
I thought of this question as I meandered through the appliance section of Sears yesterday with my husband trying to dodge the instant attraction the "Blue Crew" had for us, like sharks to chum:
Who is the worst: Car Salesperson, Furniture Salesperson or Department Store Appliance Salesperson?
All three make my skin crawl the instant I walk through the door. It's almost like they can smell the fear. I wish I could wear a sign that says "Hi. I'm just looking." but I don't think that would even work. I feel like I can't even kick a tire, sit in a chair or open or close a door without the vultures breaking from their suffocating formation: constant circling.
My rank of annoyance?
1. Furniture
2. Appliance
3. Car
How do they rank in your book?

This of course has no reflection on my Uncle who IS a car guy...he is certainly the exception and would buy a car from him any time! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cars guys make me the most nervous - I want to run when they start walking towards me. I'm OK with the others. I think it's simply a matter of comfort zones. I know a lot more about furniture and appliances than cars, so I'm more afraid of being steered in the wrong direction in the car lot. Dropping by from 31DBBB :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't shopped for either in a long while so can't really comment LOL
ReplyDeleteOh but I can comment on the lack of sales people when you want one that is annoying. It is upsetting to go a store and need help and can't find anyone. That annoys me more than overzealous salespersons.
