Blog Boycott Day

There is so much to share with you that I kind of feel like Joe Pecsi's character Leo Getz from the movie "Lethal Weapon 2". Remember how his brain could not process his thoughts fast enough, so he would constantly be saying "Ok. ok.ok.ok.ok.ok.ok.ok...."

Ah, yes...this is a GREAT start!

You may have noticed that I did not post very much this past week. Well, there is a reason behind that madness:

Remember I mentioned that I was planning some BIG things for 2011? Like switching up the look of this blog? Making it better? Moving to a self-hosted Word Press home? Well, it is really happening! I cannot wait to share with you all the fantastic changes that have been put into place. I think you are really going to like it!

You may see some minor changes happening on this page....like the missing Google connect box? Yes. It has packed up and moved to the new pad. Not to worry...you can still sign up via email to subscribe to all the latest posts until the move is official! The move is hopefully going to happen in the next couple of weeks! So exciting! Don't you think?! 

I am also very excited to announce that I am a contributing blogger for a new site called About One, where home management has taken on a whole new direction! This site allows you to easily organize your daily home life, photos, appointments, etc. from anywhere with a click a button. I am thrilled to be a part of their team! "Trick or Tweet!" Happy Halloween!

Every Halloween I like to come up with a unique costume to celebrate the holiday and hand out treats to all the Trick or Treaters. It's fun to banter back and forth with the TOT's, "Hey great costume", "Hey, great costume yourself!"

While digging through the Halloween box, I found a blue wig....the color of the blue was familiar....and it got the imagination going.....and I came up with.....

TWITTER!!

I was all shades of blue...From head to toe....

And to think that a little over a year ago, I didn't even have a Twitter! Now I can't stay away from it!

Dressing up is fun...but the real fun begins when the bell rings and you get to see what characters are looking for chocolaty treats. I think my favorite of the night was a little girl decked out with a shiny pink cowgirl hat, and a matching pink tulle skirt, complete with cowgirl boots. I answered the door to a sweet little...

Cowgirl: "Trick or Treat! What are you this Halloween?"

Me: "I'm Twitter"

Cowgirl: "That's cool. I'm a cowgirl."

Me: "I like your pink hat!"

Cowgirl: "Yes, it helps me do this"

she grabbed her hat by the brim and kicking up her booted heel yelled

"Yeeeee-Haaaawww!"

She was the cutest thing ever, and I wanted to give her the whole big bowl of candy.

The next surprise- my daughter baked a birthday cake that matched my costume!!

This Halloween really was a Treat with a Tweet! :)
